This is from my Singapore swap that I posted about yesterday. I first saw this polish in the very early days of my lurking on the nail board, and I really never thought I'd have the opportunity to have it. Funny how these longtime lemmings have a way of finding their way to us when we least expect it. =) This polish is absolutely stunning, deep blue with an insane green shimmer that also looks blue in some lights.
And look at the bottle! There are a few US companies that have interesting bottles, but not many. I just love that a polish this beautiful also lives in a bottle this beautiful.
The shots I took in my lightbox show what the polish looks like indoors for me - almost blackened at the edges of the nail with that amazing glow in the center of the nail.
Outside in the sun, the shimmer is just off the charts. I actually squealed when I saw it outside for the first time.
This is my first Etude House, and aside from the amazing color, the polish itself is fantastic. It has a flat brush, but one that's on the narrower side (not like those mops in the Sally Hansen polishes). The brush makes it very easy to control the polish, and I barely had to do any clean up. Honestly, I probably could have done just one coat, but I always feel like I get better wear with two. But this baby is highly pigmented and not in the least bit sheer or runny or splotchy or anything obnoxious. Just a great polish.
Hope you all have had a pleasant weekend, and thanks for stopping by! =D
